Caveats

• Opera - any platform: JavaScript control does not work with the Opera browser, it has been tested to work with Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari. If someone knows how to get it working with Opera, please let us know.
• OS X: Mac OS X does not like Java Applets. GenomeView should work fine, but you may experience OutOfMemoryExceptions sometimes for no apparent reason, even though you never get any of these exceptions on Linux or Windows. This is a known problem with Macs, please contact Apple and ask them to fix Java support in OS X.
• Firefox with NoScript addon: In the advanced options, you need to add a line to ABE (Application Bounds Enforcer). Add Accept GET from genomeview.org to the SYSTEM Ruleset.
